Apprenticeship at VTW

Several students from PTS Waidhofen visited us to find out more about apprenticeships at VTW and to look over the shoulders of the experts for two days.

Our apprentice trainer Reinhard Christian welcomed and immersed them in the world of toolmakers. The program included getting to know as many internal processes as possible and also performing certain activities themselves.

Résumé:
"The days at VTW were very instructive and informative for me and have awakened my interest in the apprenticeship profession of toolmaking technician. I was even allowed to get involved in assembling the tools, take part in the sampling of a pilot mould and engrave my own souvenir sign with the laser."
