“One tree per cavity”
VTW plants 1,000 trees

Sustainability starts with a good idea. Under the motto “One tree per cavity”, VTW set a strong example of environmental awareness and responsibility: a tree was planted for every mold cavity delivered in the last financial year – 1,000 in total.

This was implemented on April 11, 2025 as part of a day of action. In collaboration with the organization waldsetzen.jetzt, an area of forest in Oedt an der Wild was reforested with a sustainable mixed culture. With a lot of drive and team spirit, 16 VTW employees took part in the planting campaign – and actively contributed to giving something back to the forest, nature and future generations. “We see it as part of our responsibility to act sustainably not only in our products, but also through targeted actions in everyday life,” says Managing Director Manfred Schinko.

With this initiative, VTW proves once again that innovative strength and environmental awareness can go hand in hand – and that every good idea can be the start of something big. “It was a great mix of teamwork, fresh air and a meaningful contribution to the environment. An all-round successful event that can be repeated!” sums up initiator Georg Süß with satisfaction.
